CCR Countercurrent Regeneration

In a traditional softener regeneration, the brining flows in the same direction as the service flow. The AQUACLiO Countercurrent Regeneration makes brining in the opposite direction of the service flow.

Countercurrent Regeneration improves both quality of the treated water and the performance of regeneration, therefore lower the operating costs and salt consumption.

W.E.T. Water Efficient Technology

W.E.T., Water Efficient Technology, is a series of features that allows water softeners to use only the amount of water and salt needed, effectively reducing waste and saving money!

W.E.T. is capable of saving up to 50 % of the salt and water used by today’s upflow high-efficiency systems.

Salt Monitor / Chlorine Generator

The AQUACLiO chlorine generator conveniently creates chlorine directly from the salt in a system’s brine solution thanks to the Water-Right technology.

During the brine draw cycle, a pair of electric probes are turned on, which convert the chlorides in the salt (NaCl) into chlorine. After destroying contaminants and stopping bacterial growth in the media, the chlorine then dissolves back into the brine solution.

Water-Right designed the device so it also acts as a salt monitor, which includes an alarm that alerts the user with audible and visual cues when salt needs to be added to the brine tank.

Ozone Generator

The AQUACLiO Ozone Generator allows you to disinfect the filter bed without the use of chemicals.

As air is being drawn into the tank, it passes through an electrical field created by the ozone generator which converts normal oxygen (O2) to ozone (O3). The generated ozone is then drawn into the tank which helps clean the unit of nuisance, slime producing bacteria.
